To replace this back glass, you will need a few tools:
• A pentalobe screwdriver
• A tri-head screwdriver
• A razor
• A hair dryer
• A guitar pick
(All of these tools, except for the hair dryer, come included in all of our repair kits.)
First, remove the screws on the bottom of your phone with the pentalobe screwdriver, there will be 2 of these screws.
Next, wedge your razor between the crack in the glass and the body of the phone. Carefully move the razor up and down along the edges to cut through some of the adhesive holding the back glass to the body.
Now take your hair dryer and heat around the edges of the phone for 2-5 minutes, have it on a medium to high heat setting and evenly apply heat
Next, wedge your pick under the back glass of the phone. Every other minute, turn the hair dryer back on and go around the edges of the phone until the back glass is fully removed.
Then, unscrew the cable cover with your tri-head screwdriver and unplug the back glass cable. Congrats! You just removed an iPhone 16 back glass!
